A vision may start with one person, but it takes a team to turn it into something greater.

Behind every milestone, every achievement, and every step forward, there are people who believe in the mission and show up to make it happen.

Building Northwest Barber Academy has not been easy. I've lost a few, had set backs, and doubters, but I stay learning, adjusting, and overcoming the obstacles. This is not just about opening doors anymore, It's about creating opportunities, changing lives, developing and building something that will outlast us.

We've faced challenges, made sacrifices, learned lessons, and continued pushing forward.

And one thing I've learned along the way is that leadership isn't about standing above your team. It's about standing beside them, growing together, and giving everyone a reason to believe.

To my team: Thank you for believing in the vision, trusting the process, and being part of something bigger than our selves.

Today, some of our Northwest Barber Academy students had the opportunity to serve at the Stand Down for Veterans event in MountVernon. Skagit County Fairgrounds

These are the experiences that remind us why we teach beyond the chair. Your skills can create a career, but your heart for service can impact an entire community.
