If you don’t know where to start with loose parts, check out a few of our favorites, with magnetic tiles being number one by far. If your kid doesn’t have any yet, grab some now. Trust me, they will love them. But loose parts don’t have to@cost money, stay posted for part 2 where I share about some free loose parts.

When I saw the ad for the Chomp Saw I knew I had to have it. I mean the kiddos would really benefit from using such a creative tool. But no, seriously. I love seeing their faces light up when using this kid-safe power tool. Stay tuned as we bring more of our imaginations to life.

We’re keeping the fruit and veggie studies going! This carrot measuring activity had the kiddos locked in. They used cubes to measure each carrot and counted how many it took. Real hands-on math.They worked on math vocabulary too, using words like longer, shorter, longest, and shortest, and comparing the carrots side by side.We added a little science by exploring different vegetables through picture puzzles.

They even broke out into a drum circle using the carrots as drum sticks!
