Applications for the 2027 to 2028 school year are officially open!

At Nashville Christian School, students are encouraged to explore their interests, embrace new challenges, and make the most of every opportunity. Elle Sheehan has done exactly that. Through the opportunities offered to her at NCS, Ellie has discovered her strengths, stepped confidently into new roles, and become an active part of the life of our school.

Her story reflects what is possible when students are known, encouraged, and given room to grow spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially.

Could NCS be part of your student’s story?

Applications are now being accepted. Schedule a visit, explore our programs, and discover what it means to be an Eagle.

We're blown away by the generosity of Nashville Christian School!

Their recent hygiene drive collected over 271 product donations for the Community Resource Center. That's 271+ items, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, and everyday essentials heading straight to neighbors across Middle Tennessee who need them most.

When students take the lead in giving back, they're not just stocking our shelves, they're building a stronger, more compassionate community for all of us.

Thank you, Nashville Christian School, for going all in for your neighbors.

SheLeads is underway at NCS!

Our new SheLeads Club met for the first time on August 25, bringing together NCS girls for an exciting new opportunity focused on leadership, confidence, connection, and personal growth.

During their first meeting, students spent time getting to know one another, participating in icebreakers, and sharing their goals and ideas for what they hope SheLeads will become at NCS.

Affiliated with , SheLeads will give our students opportunities to strengthen their leadership skills, discover their voices, and encourage one another as they grow into confident young women ready to make an impact.

We’re excited to see where they lead!

This week in chapel, we continued through the Gospel of Mark(1:14-20) as Jesus began His ministry with an announcement: “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” Then Jesus walked along the Sea of Galilee and called Simon, Andrew, James, and John to leave their nets and follow Him.

We discussed how there can be a difference between simply saying “I believe in Jesus” or identifying as a Christian and actually living as a disciple of Jesus. A disciple doesn't just believe things about Jesus; a disciple follows Jesus, learns from Jesus, and becomes more like Jesus.

We used three words to describe that life:

TURN —> Change Direction: Jesus says, “Repent.” Following Jesus begins with turning from our own direction and turning toward His.

TRUST —> Choose Devotion: Jesus says, “Believe.” Belief isn't merely knowing the right answers about Jesus. It's trusting Him enough to give Him our devotion.

TRAIN —> Continue Development: Jesus says, “Follow me.” A disciple is an apprentice of Jesus. We follow Him so He can shape and develop us. That's why Jesus says, “I will make you become…” Following Jesus isn't only about what we believe; it's about who we are becoming.

Who is Jesus? Jesus is the KING who brings God's Kingdom and is the ONE worth leaving everything to follow.

How should we respond? TURN(Repent). TRUST(Believe). TRAIN(Follow).

We turn toward Jesus, trust Him with our lives, and train as His disciples as He develops us into people who increasingly look and live like Him.

Continue the Conversation at Home

What is the difference between simply calling yourself a Christian and actually following Jesus as His disciple? What might following Jesus look like in your life this week?
