Shamrock Montessori School

Shamrock Montessori School Shamrock Montessori is a Christian Montessori school founded in 2017.

We offer Preschool, Toddler and Infant programs in English immersion and Bilingual (Chinese + English) settings. The “Shamrock” in our name refers to our Christian view of Montessori education—faith, hope, love. We are committed to develop a “whole” child of spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical. Our Montessori classrooms are beautifully designed to meet the needs of children in a specific age range. In Montessori classroom, the children move about freely, choosing their “work” with responsibility and freedom. They work in groups and individually to explore the world around and develop their potential.

First Day of School | A Peaceful Beginning 🌱

Our classrooms felt wonderfully peaceful today.

As the children stepped into their new environments, they were naturally drawn to the work their teachers had so thoughtfully prepared. Some quietly observed, some became deeply engaged, and others were already beginning to find their rhythm within the classroom.

Even on the very first day, we saw beautiful signs of what Montessori calls Normalization.

Normalization is not about expecting children to be quiet, compliant, or tear-free. It is a gradual process that happens when children feel secure in a prepared environment filled with order, meaningful choices, and purposeful work. From that security, concentration, independence, and inner order begin to grow.

We also understand the questions parents may carry on the first days of school: Will my child miss me? Will they adjust? Will their teacher notice when they need help?

This is why observation is at the heart of a Montessori teacher’s work.

Our teachers don’t rush to do things for children, but independence never means leaving a child to struggle alone. We observe carefully—offering warmth when a child needs reassurance, support when help is needed, and stepping back when they are ready to try on their own.

Love helps children feel safe.
Observation helps us truly see each child.
Just enough help allows independence to unfold naturally.

The first day is only the beginning, and every child will find their way in their own time.

But today, we saw a beautiful beginning.❤️

Team Connection Day! 🥳

Turns out, there’s a whole lot more to our team than what you see in the classroom! 🤩

We’ve got dancers who can’t resist a good beat, foodies who seriously know their way around a kitchen, a few surprise performers with some impressive tricks up their sleeves, and enough athletic talent to keep just about any game going!

We spend so much of our time learning together, supporting one another, and giving our best to our children. Today was a chance to step outside of our everyday roles and see a whole different side of each other. ✨😍

A New School Year Begins 🌱🥳

Seven full days of learning, practicing, reflecting, and growing together — and now, we’re finally ready to welcome a new school year! ❤️

Throughout these intensive training days, our teachers learned alongside one another through role-playing, hands-on practice, team collaboration, and sharing their professional experiences across different areas of the classroom.

We practiced the little things, talked through the challenging moments, learned from one another, and prepared with intention — because we know that behind a beautiful Montessori classroom is a team of educators who truly understands the children and the purpose behind what we do.

And now, the classrooms are ready. 🌱

Tomorrow, our children will walk through the doors and begin discovering all the little surprises waiting for them — familiar faces, new friendships, new experiences, and so much to explore.

We can’t wait to welcome them back!🤩

🌎 Week 5 | Exploring Animal Habitats Around the World 🦜🐪🐙❄️🦁

Our classroom looked a little different every morning this week—and that was exactly the point.

From the rainforest and the desert to the ocean, the Arctic, Antarctica, and the African savanna, each habitat invited the children to explore in a new way. Stories, science, movement, sensory experiences, art, and dramatic play all came together, giving every child a chance to discover through hands-on exploration.

Our teachers changed roles right along with the theme, becoming storytellers, explorers, scientists, safari guides, and fellow adventurers. Rather than simply giving answers, they asked questions, encouraged observations, and followed the children’s curiosity as each new habitat came to life.

Week 5 was filled with laughter, imagination, and so many meaningful conversations. There’s nothing quite like watching children learn by exploring the world together.👀🌍

🌍 Around the World | Shamrock Summer Camp Week 4

One of the things we love most about our themed weeks is watching children become fascinated by the world around them.

Although many of our children have never visited these amazing places, they were completely captivated by the stories behind them.

Last week, we explored five incredible landmarks across five continents:
🗽 Statue of Liberty
🏔️ Machu Picchu
🗼 Eiffel Tower
🧱 Great Wall of China
🔺 Pyramids of Giza

We didn’t just learn what these landmarks look like—we discovered why they were built, who built them, and the history that makes each one so special. Through stories, maps, art, music, and hands-on activities, these famous places came to life in our classroom.

On Friday, we welcomed families into the classroom for our Landmark Showcase. Seeing the children proudly share what they had learned was the perfect ending to a wonderful week of exploration.

Every themed week opens another window to the world, and we can’t wait to see where our next adventure takes us. 🌎🤩

Shamrock Summer Camps 2026

During the first two weeks of camp, our young artists embarked on a creative journey around the globe! We explored famous artists from each continent, learning about their unique styles and techniques. Inspired by their discoveries, we then recreated artwork using a variety of materials and artistic methods. It was wonderful to see each child's imagination and individuality shine through in their masterpieces!

At Shamrock Montessori, we observe each child closely, document their progress, and create individualized plans that guide hands-on learning and spiritual growth. Teachers set clear goals—expanding bilingual vocabulary, refining fine motor skills through practical life activities, or building social-emotional confidence during group lessons—and track progress with regular notes, work samples, and family conferences. We share updates and next steps with families so you see growth at home and school.
