We'd like to thank the Issaquah City Council for joining us in celebrating and recognizing Bellevue College's 60th anniversary with a proclamation read at yesterday's council meeting. We are grateful for the support Issaquah has offered us over the last 60 years as a neighbor and community partner and look forward to our shared futures.

Patiently waiting for the summer weather to come back and stick around for good. Until then we will just have to reminisce on time spent in the warmth on campus.

The final deadlines to sign up for commencement and graduation are next month! Sign up for commencement by June 16 to ensure you can walk the stage with your fellow graduates. Apply for graduation by June 24 to ensure you can receive your diploma and join the commencement ceremony.

5/21 Update: Regarding campus message shared on 5/20/2026 via email and social media.

The individual identified in connection with the concerning post referenced yesterday evening on 5/20/2026 has been contacted by law enforcement. We have been advised that there is no ongoing threat to the Bellevue College campus community at this time. Classes and activities will continue as scheduled.
The Bellevue Police Department reminds community members that if they see anything suspicious, they should call 911.
The safety and security of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors remains our highest priority. We will continue to update the community if more information becomes known.

We have been notified that there was a concerning post on social media mentioning Bellevue Community College. We have been in touch with Bellevue Police Department and the FBI. They are taking lead on investigating the post and any possible threat related to the post. We have not been advised to take any action or make any changes at this time. We will continue to be in touch with the authorities as the investigation develops. We take seriously the safety and security of our campus community and will provide updates as they become available.
