PNNF had another successful Tendo Ryu Naginata Seminar April 11-12 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center. Instructors Takami Tanner and Eric Montes flew in to lead it.

This week we held two beginner workshops - one for Atarashii Naginata and one for Tendo Ryu Naginata. Three people attended the Atarashii class last Sunday and seven attended Tendo Ryu last night. We had an additional 9 regular students present last night so each beginner had an experienced “buddy” to help them learn ichimonji no midare. This was the first time we have held a beginner class for Tendo Ryu. Everyone did a great job.

Our election of officers ended today and we announced the results at our General Meeting on Zoom. Here are the results:
