Bright Beginnings Learning Center is a professional facility that strives to provide a balance between a Reggio curriculum and our local school district curriculum. This unique program strives to provide a theme-center based environment that allows children to develop in a rich hands-on, safe and loving environment. gs is a licensed, CPR and First Aid certified facility with licensed/certificated educators. We only allow 12 students in this program so that our number ratio is never over 8:1; due to our adult involvement our numbers are very often lower. The classroom is set up into different centers that are based on a certain theme. The students rotate through the following centers: music, art, writing/fine motor, gross motor, science, reading readiness, computer skills and foreign language (basic ASL and Spanish). We also value real life experiences through field trips, community participation and being involved in developing our school learning environment. Our children also learn through open play during outdoor and indoor recess. Cooking and being active in the outdoor environment is also part of our curriculum; so be ready to be hands-on! Having a healthy and consistent relationship with all families through communication is one of our goals. We believe consistency is a vital part of growth and development for young children. In addition to our daily contact we will be having two parent/teacher conferences per school year. We look forward to working as a team to guide your child through their early learning experience.
