Good Afternoon Grandview Elementary Families!
It is time to elect two parent representatives for the 2026-2027 SBDM Council. The term for elected members will run from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
School-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Councils are made up of parents, teachers, and administrators who work together to set school policy and make decisions that support effective learning and a positive educational environment. The Council typically meets once a month after school in the school library.
To be eligible, a nominee must be a parent, stepparent, legal guardian, or foster parent with whom the student resides and who is pre-registered at the school. Parent members cannot be school employees, school board members, or their spouses, and they must not be related to a school employee.
If you are interested in serving, please complete and return the attached nomination form to our Parent-Teacher Organization at [email protected]. If you know another parent who would be a great fit, please encourage them to submit a nomination as well.
Once nominations are finalized, the PTO will share candidate information with families and conduct electronic voting to select the new representatives.
