Lower Elementary had a hands-on science lesson exploring static electricity and current electricity! Students acted out current electricity by linking arms to show the flow of electrons through a circuit, then “broke” the circuit to see what happens when the connection is interrupted. They also explored static electricity by rubbing a balloon on their hair and testing how close they needed to be for the tissue paper to “jump” to the balloon ⚡️
