Parents are always asking when to start piano lessons - the magic answer is NOW! Complete Musicians are more than just piano players and can begin learning at any age.

Adapted from : Many traditional piano teachers believe that the right time to start children in piano lessons is around age 7 or 8, because traditional piano lessons require letter recognition and more developed finger strength. BUT did you know there is a learning "window" when the brain is most able to absorb knowledge and ability? For instance, the brain is most receptive to music instruction from birth to age 9!!

So, waiting to start piano lessons until age 8 means losing most of that formative window, which could be detrimental to their education.

Let's Play Music solves this problem by teaching staff-reading without letter recognition and by developing finger strength and dexterity through fun, age-appropriate activities and exercises! Our students learn complex musical theory and skills through PLAY, so by the time they are 8, they are truly talented and ready to soar in their private music lessons!
