Congratulations to Olivia N, Aubree D and Emma J for having their art displayed in "My Nebraska, Our America Traveling Art Exhibit". Their mural drawings were selected for this special traveling art exhibit to celebrate the 250th birthday of our country. The exhibit will travel to several locations across the state:

* Nebraska State Capitol – July 1–19
* Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA), Kearney – August
* Nebraska Department of Education, Lincoln – September

Cornerstone is excited to announce that Aubrey's artwork will be on display at The Archway Museum in Kearney this summer! Aubrey is in seventh grade and writes about her piece, "The Eye of America":
This artwork is of an American eagle. The idea behind this art piece is to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the US. American are a very protected animal in the US and American eagles all over have been taken care of very dearly because they mean so much to this country. Even though I have only seen American eagles a few times, I appreciate their beauty. This as a mural would mean a lot to any community. I spent so much time creating it. Creating it felt like helping a child grow up. I want viewers to appreciate this piece and maybe learn to love art the way I do.
