Bellevue Discovery Preschool

After many weeks of learning all about cities, our students and teachers designed a project presentation for our families. Using the skills and concepts addressed throughout the school year, each child created their own unique city business to run and share during our City Day. We had a wonderful celebration of learning!

We've been continuing our Cities curriculum exploration. We've had so much fun learning about city buildings and construction. We've enjoyed pretend play activities as well as creative art projects!

We are enjoying our wonderful community of preschoolers this year as we continue to learn all about Cities! We've studied different modes of transportation, city buildings, and what is up and above the city. We took a walking field trip in our own city to explore our school neighborhood.

Our overarching theme this year is Cities. We divide this into weekly topics, and our students have enjoyed learning about neighborhoods and community helpers.

Our school year is off to a wonderful start at Bellevue Discovery!

We've had so much fun enjoying our last few weeks of school! We went on a train ride, studied worms and butterflies, learned how to play new board games, and celebrated spring!

Hats off to our amazing students and teachers for such hard work on our project presentations this year! Each child was tasked with creating their own machine, explaining what their machine could do, and building a prototype of its features. We welcomed our school community into the classroom to celebrate this special event with us and to learn from each child about their creative contraption!
