Our incredible mural is really taking shape! Huge thank you to our amazing artist, Valeria Ortiz, Bellevue Schools Foundation, and our SFE community for making this dream into a reality.

Valeria worked with members of the Sherwood community to ensure her design was a true representation of what makes our building such a uniquely special place and included some of our student's favorite learning experiences (check out the adorable Bee Bot!). Students discussed in their classes and were able to pick the words they felt best described Sherwood. Valeria has incorporated these into the mural using our most commonly spoken languages. Students also will have an opportunity to help decorate wooden hummingbirds that Valeria will incorporate into the final design.

Summer menus are here! BSD Nutrition Services is offering FREE meals for any child 18 years and younger. 🍽️ Breakfast will feature favorites like cereal, banana bread and whole-grain blueberry muffins. Breakfast will be offered at @stevensonsuperstars from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m., Monday through Thursday, July 7-24. 🍽️ Lunch will feature student favorites like crispy chicken legs with waffles and warm apple compote, cheeseburgers, and pepperoni pizza, to name a few. Come eat with us July 7-31 at Sammamish High School.
