Empowering Mayan youth to break the generational cycle of poverty in the Ixil region of Guatemala through Christ-centered education.
The Problem
•Less than 20% of the children attend school beyond 6th grade.
•Village parents typically do not have an education beyond 6th grade, are focused on survival, and have difficulty modeling the importance of additional education.
•Families often do not have sufficient financial resources to pay for education beyond 6th grade. Value of Nicolás Fund for Education
Building relationships in
Meet Marco, a student from Nicolás Christian School. He, along with a team of other NCS students, received recognition from NASA for a special project they did comparing the atmosphere on Earth to that of other planets.

Our Nicolás Christian School soccer team, the Falcons, made it to the semi-finals!!
Más allá del resultado, queda el orgullo.
Nuestros estudiantes de fútbol 11 llegaron hasta las semifinales, demostrando entrega, disciplina y pasión en cada partido. Aunque el marcador no estuvo a nuestro favor, dejaron en alto el nombre de nuestra institución con su juego limpio, respeto hacia sus rivales y una integridad digna de admirar.
Hoy no celebramos una victoria en la cancha, sino el carácter, el esfuerzo y los valores que demostraron en cada encuentro. ¡Felicitaciones, campeones! Su ejemplo nos recuerda que el verdadero triunfo está en dar lo mejor de sí y competir con honor.
