Holy Week at SHS included Stations of the Cross led by 7th grade, a PreK foot washing, 2nd graders learning about a Sedar Meal and the Last Supper, and 5th graders hosting a Passion Play.

SHS alum Brandon Engman, who voices Young David in the Angel Studio movie was recently interviewed on Spirit 105.3 radio. Yesterday was Student Appreciation Day! To celebrate, we hosted our annual Young Artists' Convention! It was so wonderful to have authors, illustrators, producers, and musicians visit our school and share their stories and passion with our students!

Yesterday was Parish Appreciation Day! After a beautiful Mass hosted by our 4th graders, the Student Council Faith Commission presented the Parish staff with their appreciation gifts - handmade rosaries! During the day, our lunchtime "Minute-to-Win-it" games continued - this time it was 6th grade and 2nd grade who got to play!

Yesterday was Parent Appreciation Day! We sure hope you enjoyed the spirited morning welcome in the parking lots during drop off, as well as the beautiful cards your children brought home to you! During the day, our lunchtime "Minute-to-Win-it" games continued - this time it was 7th grade and 3rd grade playing! We also want to give a friendly reminder that our story walk is still available for classes and families to walk through! The story is by author and illustrator Liz Wong, who will be visiting our campus for Young Artists' Convention tomorrow!

Catholic Schools Week is off to a great start! 

Yesterday was Community Appreciation Day! To celebrate, students made and delivered cards to the Clyde Hill Fire and Police Departments. We also had our first day of "Minute-to-Win-it" games in the lunchroom - congratulations to 8th graders Alexa and Amelia, and 4th grader Andrew for winning our games! We also want to shoutout PreK for the beautiful bulletin board, and 3B for participating in the Hallow Catholic Schools Week prayer challenge and solving the word puzzle in just 3 guesses!

Catholic Schools Week 2026 kicked off yesterday with a special Mass in which many of our students served as readers, gift bearers, altar servers, choir members, organists, and speakers. We are so grateful to everyone who worked so hard to lead us in a beautiful Mass! What a wonderful way to begin this special week!

Angel Studios has a new animated move all about King David coming out this month! On top of being a beautifully made film about a beloved Biblical hero, it also stars the voice acting of Brandon Engman, SHS alum and son of current SHS teacher Mrs. Rosemarie Engman! We encourage you to watch the official trailer and listen to the soundtrack, and then to buy tickets to see the movie at Lincoln Center Cinema with other Sacred Heart families on Saturday, December 20th at 4:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!

Our Fall Prospective Family Open House is coming soon! Families interested in Sacred Heart School will be able to meet our faculty, tour our school and classrooms with a current school parent and middle school student ambassador, and visit with our teachers in their classrooms.
