During the 2026-2027 school year, we're celebrating our 75th year! Each week, we'll be sharing a "Flashback Friday" with a vintage photo from the earlier days of Sacred Heart School.

This week, please enjoy this shot of the upper lot during recess. We don't have an exact date for this photo, but know that it was taken some time during the 1950s.

We are continuing to enjoy seeing all of the photo submissions for our Summer Church Challenge!
Congratulations to our 5th round winners!

We didn't get any intermediate submissions this week, so we're recognizing two middle school families!
- Primary: the Hryb family attended Mass at St. Mary, Our Lady of the Isle in Nantucket
- Middle School: the McGrath family found another Sacred Heart Church in Maui!
- Middle School: the Aliseda-Canton family attended Mass at St. Benedict Church on the Big Island
- Alumni: the Hickey family visited the Oliwa Cathedral in Poland

- Primary: the Chodorski and Kimbrough families attended Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Oahu, Hawaii
- Intermediate: the Frias Navarro and Sinnett families visited Notre Dame in Paris, France
- Middle School: the Posada Family visited Santiago de Compestela in Spain
- Alumni: the Herb Family went to Mass at Castel Gandolfo in Rome, Italy and were blessed to see Pope Leo XIV!

Additionally, some of our faculty have also shared their pictures!
- Mrs. Blank and her family went to Mass at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Chelan, WA
- Ms. Metzger was welcomed into her new cohort at Boston College
- Several of our faculty members have spent the last 2 weeks in Rome as a part of the University of Dallas' Classical Education in Rome program. Together, Mrs. Batchelor, Ms. Ward, Ms. Horton, Ms. Gallagher, Ms. Reynaud, Mrs. McGinnis, and Mr. Granlund have visited St. Peter's Basilica and the Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta.
