Children in elementary are now full swing into writing their rough drafts, editing with editing marks, correcting spelling and punctuation, and writing the good draft. This is a process that takes time to develop and when started early the children will learn how to look at their work and read for clarity. They feel a flexibility, creativity, and a range with their work that cannot be found using worksheets. This practice must start early and is integral to a young scholars ability to express themselves with precision, as well as read while engaging their reasoning mind.
