Last one for today is the new Field house overlooking Ft Crook + Cornhusker to be completed in a bit over a year from now

Bellevue University has announced plans to construct a new 72,000-plus square foot, multimillion dollar Athletics Field House just west of the University’s main campus, on Harvell Circle off of Herman Drive.

Almost forgot to post about the New Bellevue Public Library building just a block East over on Longo Drive. Hoping we get some complete sidewalks and better crosswalks to provide safe connections from the high schools

Midlands Community Foundation is matching donations made to local organizations in Bellevue including the public library. Donations will go towards a new library currently under construction.

The City of Bellevue, Nebraska is in the process of developing their new comprehensive plan and long-range transportation plan. The new plan will guide growth, develop, and improvement within the community for the next 10-20 years.

Here is what we could have if the Papio NRD and the City of Bellevue, Nebraska worked together to improve the watershed/Mud Creek on Ft Crook Rd. with examples from other Cities. Investment by the City in infrastructure and amenities also helps existing businesses gain more business by attracting residents to the area and can attract new businesses as well.

Hoping to get a facelift someday to have more than a utilitarian watershed creek in place. Unfortunately, no significant physical investment by City of Bellevue, Nebraska beyond 2 master plan studies for now going back to 2008. Only 8 miles of one of the most important North/South corridors in the City.
