From infants to Pre-k, each child had the opportunity to add their touches to our βUnder the Seaβ school wide mural.
Young children collaborating on projects and working together has many life long benefits. Socially, they practice sharing, taking turns and respecting otherβs work. Cognitively, children learn problem solving and flexible thinking. Through observing their peers, they can see there is more than one way to solve a problem or in this case, draw a sea creature.
& since each lesson here is taught in Spanish and Mandarin, the children built vocabulary in two languages in a fun and engaging way.
