Every year local PTAs across the state provide education enhancements in and out of the classroom, family engagement opportunities, and raise their voices to advocate for all children. Membership supports these activities and programs in your school and community.

Our records show that you have not renewed your PTA membership for the 2022-2023 school year. There are so many things to do at the beginning of the school year, we can see how you could overlook this. But no worries, WESTHAVEN PTA has made it easy to renew right now online by using this link:

Not sure? Here are a few Myths and Truths about PTA membership.

MYTH: Joining PTA requires you to volunteer and attend all meetings.

TRUTH: If you want to volunteer or attend meetings, that’s great, but it is not required. Membership opens opportunities for you to engage with your PTA. It can be very rewarding for you and the students.
MYTH: You must have a child at the school to join the PTA.

TRUTH: PTA membership is open, without discrimination, to anyone who believes in and supports the mission, purposes, and principles of PTA.
MYTH: PTA membership never expires.

TRUTH: You need to join every year. Even though membership generally runs annually July – June, you can join anytime during the year.
