What is BNT?
Belleville New Tech (BNT) is known for its focus on project-based learning and technology integration, which allows students to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the 21st century. The school provides students with a personalized learning experience and uses technology to support student-centered, collaborative, and real-world learning. Project-Based Learning (PBL) emphasizes hands-on, experiential learning and focuses on developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, whereas traditional learning emphasizes rote memorization and individual learning. In this type of education model, students are encouraged to take an active role in their learning and to develop critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. The curriculum is interdisciplinary and focuses on the integration of technology and 21st-century skills. The goal of Belleville New Tech is to prepare students for success in college and in the workforce by providing them with an education that is both rigorous and relevant.
Belleville New Tech is open to all Van Buren Public School students in the 9th - 12th grades and is located on the campus of Belleville High School. For more information please visit our website or contact BNT Director Scott Wilsey at [email protected].
