✨ Some behind-the-scenes fun from Handmade Craft Camp with Ms. Scott last week! Students explored their creativity by making planets, trinkets, and many other unique creations. It was wonderful to see everyone shine and express their artistic sides while having so much fun together. 🎨🪐💫

On Day 5 of Game boards and Puzzle Camp we learned how to play Yahtzee, flew drones, and coded with colors using our Ozobots. It was wonderful spending time away from phones and tablets and instead playing games, strategizing, and running around the gym—just being kids.

What a fun week filled with problem-solving, teamwork, and lots of laughter. I loved watching students connect, think creatively, and simply enjoy being together.

🕹️ Game Champions & High-Flying Fun!

Thursday was packed with excitement! We kicked things off by learning the classic game of Kerplunk. The tension was high, but Deaunty showed us how it's done and walked away as our official Kerplunk Champion! 🏆

But the fun didn't stop on the ground. We also took to the skies and learned how to fly our drones! It was awesome watching everyone master the controls and get their pilots' licenses for the day. 🛸✨

Today was all about brainpower and a little bit of friendly competition! We spent our time diving into some awesome puzzles and face-offs in the game Trouble. The dice were popping, the competition was fierce, and a huge congratulations goes out to Mason, our official Trouble tournament champion! 🏆 Let the good times roll!

Board Game Camp

Boys volleyball camp last week spent time learning the fundamentals of passing, setting, hitting, and serving! They did a great job!

Dear Parents and Students,

The Belleville Middle Schools Winter Guard is excited to offer our Junior High Color Guard Camp from June 22–25, held daily from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon.

This camp is designed for students who are interested in learning the fundamental skills necessary to spin a flag and become a member of an organized color guard (flag team). Instruction will be geared toward beginners and developing performers, helping students build a strong foundation in equipment handling, movement, and performance techniques.

A brief demonstration showcasing what students have learned will take place at the conclusion of camp on Thursday, June 25. The performance will be held on the Central Terrace (center courtyard) of Belleville East High School's campus, or in the Gym Annex in the event of inclement weather.

Camp Cost

$90 – Students who need camp equipment provided
$60 – Students who already have their own equipment
Checks should be made payable to the Junior Lancers Winter Guard.

Eligibility
Camp is open to any rising 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student who lives within the attendance boundaries of a feeder school for either Belleville East High School or Belleville West High School.

We look forward to introducing students to the exciting world of color guard and helping them develop new skills, confidence, and friendships throughout the week.
