"Hands down the best decision we’ve made as parents. The approach Blessed Sacrament takes when educating children is without comparison in the area. Graduates routinely out-score their peers on placement testing for both high school and college. The kids and families are kind, generous, and a lot of fun. If you’re looking to be involved in your child’s education and know they are part of a community, look no further."

We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Kelley Gaither to our faculty as our new Pre-K3 teacher! Ms. Gaither has been teaching at the Pre-K level for 17 years and is so excited to be joining our Blessed Sacrament family.

Enjoy the following fun facts about Ms. Gaither:

1) Where were you born?
I was born in Maryville where I now live but grew up in Collinsville. I attended Saints Peter & Paul School, as did my father, my husband and our 2 kids.

2) What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
My favorite ice cream flavor is a close tie with mint chocolate chip but I’d say bubblegum. Not sure why I liked that hard gum inside but I did (and still do).

3) What are your favorite activities to do outside of school?
My kids are always my favorite activity. I love being their biggest cheerleader following their sports. During the summers, I foster puppies from a local rescue. I love to walk my dogs and garden!

4) If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Greece is #1 on my bucket list. We love to travel. My kids will be going to their 37th state later this month. We pick a new state each year. Once we are out of states, we will travel internationally and I hope Greece is first! I’d choose Greece because of the food, the ocean, and the architecture.

5) If you could live in any other time period other than the present, when would you live and why?
That’s a tough one. Of course living when Jesus was alive would have been the ultimate dream but I think I would honesty choose not so long ago, like Little House on the Prairie time. Raising a family on a farm when life was slow and simple.

6) What are you most excited about teaching Pre-K at Blessed Sacrament?
I'm so excited to work with the staff I hear so many good things about. Especially Ms. Hatch. I’m equally excited about seeing those kiddos come for the first time. They are a little nervous but a little excited too. I’m so lucky to be their teacher.

7) What is an interesting fact about you?
I love home remodeling. I try to be as hands on with as many projects as I can. I recently tiled my backsplash and added stone to my fireplace.

Welcome to Blessed Sacrament, Ms. Gaither!
