Presbyterian Community Preschool

The Presbyterian Community Preschool was founded in 1963 and has taught young children for almost 60 years. It is with great sadness that I announce the Preschool Board has decided to close the Presbyterian Community Preschool. The 2021-2022 school year just completed is the Preschool’s last year. The Board will return deposits to families already registered for the 2022-2023 preschool year. Unfortunately, the enrollment numbers were not enough to sustain the Preschool’s operating budget. As our culture and society have changed, so has the need for two-day-a-week preschools.

Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us that for everything there is a season. Board members pray that God will continue to use, guide, and inspire all those whose lives have been touched by the Presbyterian Community Preschool. We give thanks for a supportive church that has housed and supported the Preschool since the beginning, as well as the amazing teachers and staff, board members, volunteers, and families who have come through our doors over the years. Our 3’s class had a great end of year celebration. Have a great summer break little love bugs; we will miss you!

You know it’s going to be a great last day when the Board President shows up first thing in the morning and surprises the students with bubbles. Thank you Ms. Linda and the entire school board for all that you do for the preschool, we appreciate all of you. 🥰

Today we said ‘Farewell’ to our 4’s class. We have had the best days learning, playing, and growing together. I am so proud of my little love bugs as they worked extremely hard this year preparing for kindergarten. And as I always say to them, “You are going to rock kindergarten”! We send love and blessings to our families as you are the best part of our program. We thank you for allowing us to be a part of this very important educational journey for your children. Have a great summer!
