Whoooo 🦉doesn’t love a great Llama Llama story time? We read “Llama Llama Misses Mama”.We love this story because we learn how Llama Llama discovers that playing with his new friends and his teacher is a great way to spend a day at school when you miss Mama. This book was a gift from our friend Max and his grandma Mrs. Lily many years ago, and we read it every September.

We have 10 butterflies!

Our friends had so much fun singing for our families at our annual Family Luncheon! We tie-dyed special shirts to wear, painted flower pots, and created lots of beautiful art projects that decorated our gym. What a way to celebrate a fantastic school year!

Today was Career Day at Alphabet Academy!
We dressed like what we want to be when we grow up. We had doctors and nurses and veterinarians, and a firefighter, and even Shadow (from Sonic), a zombie, and a spy!
We can’t wait to see what really happens for all these amazing friends in the future!

We had so much fun learning about what our hard-working sanitation department friends do when they go to work. Mr. Greg and Mr. Johnnie told us about how they pick up trash, and Mr. Johnnie showed us how he uses the joystick to operate the truck’s super cool robot arm. They told us about some of the craziest things they’ve seen, and explained to us where the trash goes when it’s picked up from our houses. They let us “drive” their big truck, and they even let us honk the horns! We were very surprised when we found out that the whole back of the truck opens up when it’s time to dump the trash at the landfill.
What a cool way to learn more about how to take care of our planet as we studied about Earth Day.
