We had a wonderful cool season replant at the Ocala Wellness Community Garden this morning! 🥕

Gardeners enjoyed planting kale, collards, cabbage, lettuce, broccoli, carrots, radishes, beets and more alongside their previously planted warm season veggies. 🥦

A special thanks to some of the families from Trail Life Troop FL-1136 for volunteering today to help w**d boxes and add some fresh organic soil from Fant Farm Organics to the garden boxes!🪏

Cool season replants are underway at Second Chance Church Agriculture Farm in Belleview. 🫜

Today, volunteers added more organic soil and fertilizer to the garden boxes and helped plant veggies like collards, kale and broccoli. 🥦

There’s still plenty more to replant, so if you’d like to get your hands in the dirt and grow good things in our community or want to learn how to grow your own food, join us this Monday evening. 🥕

Today, gardeners planted things like kale, collards, cabbage, broccoli, lettuce, bok choi, lettuce, carrots, radishes, beets, and sugar snap peas. 🫛🫜 🥕 🥬
