Our Land, Our Legacy. The BHS FFA held its first meeting of the year on Wednesday. The officers planned a great meeting where they introduced the theme for the year, gave out valuable information, and had a scavenger hunt in search of commodities from the different lands. Congratulations to our member of the month Lilie Ferrone and thank you for the extra help over the summer. We had two lucky members win door prizes of a $25 Amazon Gift card and a candle. Everyone enjoyed being together again and are excited for the upcoming year.

Hey, my name is Addison Torres, though most people know me as Addi . I am so excited to serve as your Belleview FFA Chapter President this year! I’m going into my senior year—my final year in FFA—so I’m especially looking forward to making the most of every opportunity this year has to offer. Throughout my FFA journey, I’ve competed in a variety of Career and Leadership Development Events, including Extemporaneous Public Speaking, Ornamental Horticulture Demonstration, and my favorite, Parliamentary Procedure. Through Parliamentary Procedure, I’ve had the incredible privilege of placing in the Final Four at the Florida FFA State Convention for two consecutive years. FFA has also allowed me to pursue my passion for agriculture through showing livestock. I’ve shown cattle for the past two years and pigs for the past three years. In my final year in the show ring, I hope to have the most fun possible while learning every last thing I can. Outside of FFA, I’ve played indoor volleyball for the past 12 years. It has taught me so much about teamwork, perseverance, and leadership—lessons that I carry with me every day. I am so excited to meet each and every one of you and get to know you better throughout the year. FFA has always been my home, and I cannot wait to share that home with all of you. Hey yall! My name is Reagan Barlow and I’m super excited to be serving as the BHS FFA chapter Vice President. I’ve been in FFA for 7 years as well as 4-h. I’ve done a variety of contests my favorite being extemporaneous speaking. I’ve been showing sheep for 8 years. I’ve also shown cows and chickens. I have a breeding sheep operation as my SAE. I’m super excited to be serving this year and meeting everyone. My goal for the year is to keep chapter events organized for applications and help this chapter feel like a family. Can’t wait to see everyone August 19th for our first FFA meeting of the year!!

Hello, my name is Evelyn Hutto and I am proud to serve as your 2026-27 BHS FFA secretary. My favorite FFA competitions are Ornamental Horticulture and farm and agribusiness management. I love showing steers through the SEYF and some of my other favorite hobbies include hunting, taxidermy, and crafting. I can’t wait to make this school year the best one yet with the help of my fellow officers. See you on August 19th for our first chapter meeting of the year!

Hi guys, my name is Tyler or also known as Jimmy. I have been in FFA for 7 years, 6 of those years I have served as an officer. This year I will be serving as your 2026-2027 FFA chapter Treasurer. I have competed in multiple CDES, some include, Floriculture, and Forestry. At the SEYF I have been showing rabbits since 6th grade. I have won 2nd and 3rd place in showmanship as well. Not only do I show rabbits I also have won Best in Show in Home Arts the past for my wood working projects. This year I entered in my wooden Handcrafted Epoxy table. A little something about me is that I have had my own Mobile car detailing business for two years now, called Squeaky Clean Detailing. After high school I hope to continue my business and to one day be fully dependent on it as well. This year I am excited to really get to know all of you, not only as a chapter, but as individuals. I really enjoy taking the time to learn something about everyone and showing that FFA is not only an organization but a Family. As Treasurer I truly believe that every chapter member should feel included and welcomed. As your Treasurer I will help our chapter keep an accurate record of all receipts and expenses throughout the year. I am excited to serve as your 2026-27 Chapter Treasurer/ Alumni liaison. Hi! My name is Daniela Valladarez, and I’ll be serving this year as your Chapter Reporter!
My job is to tell people about what we are doing in our chapter and inform everyone about events. This is my second year in FFA, so while I may be still rather new, I am excited to help anyone in any way I can with new experiences. My goal is to make FFA a home or family by being more inclusive and encouraging new ideas. Last year, I did home arts, floriculture, conduct of chapter meetings, and livestock judging. I love doing arts and crafts, photography, animals, reading, and playing games! I cannot wait to see you guys this year! Remember our first meeting is August 19 from 3-4 pm.
