What a day at BSE!

Our 5th graders wrapped up their elementary journey with a little friendly competition. They took a tough loss in the kickball game but they left it all on the field and we couldn’t be prouder of their sportsmanship and spirit.

Ms. Clements’ class made sure our administrators got a fun (and very messy!) send-off. They earned the opportunity to pie Ms. White, Ms. Warren, or Mr. Suranni and they took full advantage of that opportunity. Ms. Clement got in on the action too!

We ended the day with one of the most emotional moments of the year, the 5th grade clap out, followed by the bus send-off. Both were full of cheers, waves, and a few tears as students headed off to their next chapter.

To our families, thank you for trusting us with your children each and every day. It is an honor we do not take lightly.

And to our administration, Ms. White and Ms. Warren, thank you for your leadership, support, and making this year a strong one for our school community. We wish you both well on your next chapters.

To our staff, thank you for your continued support, focus, drive, and determination. Your dedication to our students and families does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.

Remember 5th graders, once a Yearling ,always a Yearling. You will always hold a special place in BSE's story.

To all our students and families, we wish you a summer filled with joy, prosperity, relaxation, and happiness. Have a FANTASTIC summer break!!

And just like that, our 5th grade ceremonies are officially complete.

We are so proud of our students and all they’ve accomplished during their time at BSE. There were smiles, tears, hugs, and so many special memories made today. We know they have great things ahead.

Tomorrow we finish strong with two favorite traditions:
The 5th grade vs. faculty kickball game and the 5th grade clap out.
Then it’s officially summer break!

One more day, Yearlings, let’s make it a great one!

A bounce house and slide were rented and carnival games were set up at the end of last week because Thursday and Friday afternoons we had our FAST PM3 Star Party!

K-2 students were invited for scoring a Level 3 or higher on their ELA or Math FAST assessments.

Students in grades 3-5 set FAST PM 3 growth goals in ELA and Math with administration. They were invited for meeting at least one of their FAST growth goals. If they met both goals they enjoyed pizza at the party too.

Way to shine, students! Your dedication, perseverance, and growth are worth celebrating.

We wrapped up awards ceremonies this week for our amazing PreK 1, 2, 3, and 4th grade students! We are so proud of all the hard work, growth, and accomplishments our learners have shown this year.

Next week, we will celebrate our Kindergarten and 5th grade students as we finish out this incredible school year together before our last day on Thursday, May 28!

We hope all of our families have a safe and relaxing weekend. Reminder: There is no school Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

Today we recognized our May students of the month for demonstrating the character trait of responsible decision making!

These students consistently show integrity, make thoughtful choices, and demonstrate responsibility both inside and outside the classroom. We are proud of the positive example they set for their peers each day!
