Today, we activated Montauk State Park in Missouri. The conditions on 20M were pretty rough, but we still made 13 contacts! This brings us up to 20 different states and one Canadian province between the two latest activations. We also made it to the Park-to-Park award level for making 25 park to park contacts.

Belleview Middle School took our radio gear out to Elephant Rocks State Park to make an activation for Parks On The Air (POTA).

We had a great time with the School Club Roundup! We had 15 operators and 91 contacts in 2 countries. We are looking forward to the next one in the fall!

We had a great time at our meeting. We got creative with Makey Makeys (awesome little computer circuits) and did some fox hunting with our new antennas.

Radio Club Reminder
We will be meeting tomorrow (Saturday) from 9 a.m. until Noon. Any Belleview student currently in grades 5-8 can join us. We MUST have a permission slip from a parent to participate. There will be slips available to be signed at drop off if one didn't make it home before then. 😀

We were able to track down our "fox" using our new equipment provided by the ARRL grant that we received. The kids are getting pretty good at this, so our "fox" is going to have to get more creative! 😀🦊
