📣 An unexpected opening has become available in our previously full AM Pre-K class!

If you're still looking for the right preschool for your 4-year-old this fall, we'd love to welcome one more child to The Bellefonte Playschool!

Our AM Pre-K class meets Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and offers a warm, engaging preschool experience where children learn through play, build friendships, grow in independence, and develop the skills they'll need for kindergarten.

With a maximum of just 10 students, the PM Pre-K class offers a warm, close-knit environment where children can learn through play, build friendships, grow in independence and prepare for kindergarten.

Happy 250th Birthday America! 🇺🇸

What an absolutely Dino-mite week we had at the Playschool last week! 🦕🦖

Our campers spent the week digging for fossils, exploring sensory bins, creating dinosaur-themed art, building dinosaur habitats, experimenting with dinosaur eggs, enjoying outdoor adventures, and making some new friends along the way.

Thank you to all of our wonderful camp families for sharing your amazing little paleontologists with us. We hope everyone had a ROAR-some time and made some great summer memories!

What happens when you combine a birthday party and America?

A whole week of FUN at Happy Birthday America Camp!

Our campers spent the week creating, exploring, playing, and celebrating America's 250th birthday with patriotic crafts, festive activities, special snacks, and lots of red, white, and blue excitement. We even ended the week with a birthday party worthy of a 250-year celebration!

We had a pretty special surprise this morning with our 3-year-old classes... there was a little fawn resting in the grass on the church property!

After drop off, we took a quick walk up the driveway to see it. We talked about how we needed to use quiet voices and move our bodies slowly so we wouldn’t scare it. We looked at the spots on it's back, and at one point we even got to see its tiny little tongue as it licked its back.

It didn’t seem scared of us at all, it just watched us while we watched it. Such a cute little nature moment with the kids.

All set up for Bike and Bubble Day, a long-standing tradition at the Playschool. The bike course is laid out, we have pinwheels, bubbles, chalk and bugs to play with. We are so grateful for the beautiful day we've been given! We were worried that we were going to be rained out and have to reschedule. Looking forward to a fun day with our Pre-K! 🚲

Moments like this really show the magic of a year in Pre-K ✨

From learning how to count… to confidently adding numbers and completing their own work, it’s always amazing to watch their growth.
We are so proud of everything our Pre-K friends have accomplished!
