Good morning,

Due to flooding and storm damage in parts of the district, Bald Eagle Area School District will be operating on a two-hour delay today, Thursday, September 3rd, 2026. This extra time will allow us to assess any issues at our schools, figure out bus and van routes in the impacted areas, and communicate to any families who we may not be able to pick up this morning. Thank you for your understanding as we ensure students' safety in getting to school this morning.

Our custodial and maintenance team has been hard at work this summer, preparing our buildings for the start of a new school year. Combined with some enhancement projects, things are looking good as we get ready to welcome students back on Monday! 🫧🦅

Best of luck to our BEA students who are showing animals, competing in various exhibits, and working a variety of jobs at the Centre County Grange Fair this week! Thank you to our FFA advisor, Mr. Biddle, co-advisor, Mrs. Lewis, and our talented students for the work they put into this event each year. The food alone is always worth a trip. 🐄🐐🐖🥤🍦🎡🦅

It was great to have our first day BEA family reunion, with all of our staff members gathering for our opening day events. Our team of Eagles is back this week to prepare for the first day of school on August 31st. It was a great day to be an Eagle! 🦅

In what is expected to become a new tradition at BEAHS, seniors were allowed to paint their parking spaces for the upcoming school year. A full showing of all the spaces will be posted on the district page once they are all done, but so far we have been impressed with the creativity of our seniors as they get ready for their final chapter as Eagles! 🦅 🎨
