Bellefontaine Boys win Wapakoneta Invitational

Wapakoneta- The Chieftain Boys knocked off the 13th ranked in state D2 Defiance in the latest Night Time race at Wapak. 13/16 runners reeled in a season best.

Wapak Night Meet

Grace Brown captured the individual title at Saturday night's Wapak Night Meet, earning her third Wapak championship in her four-year high school career.

The BHS girls finished 3rd/14 teams, with Camila Cely-Hernandez, Chloe O'Chocke and Alivia Owens recording PR times.

"There were some good things to take away from the night, but we know we're capable of more. Grace continues to put together an impressive high school career, and six girls ran either a personal or season best times. We also saw our pack come together, and that will be key to our success this season." -Coach Stacey Wilson

Emmett Lowe wins Wapak Night Meet youth mile run!

Bellefontaine 6th grader Emmett Lowe raced to a first place finish Saturday at the Wapak Night Meet youth mile run. Lowe raced the course in a personal best time of 6:11. Chieftain 3rd grader Ollie Smith ran an 8:27 and 1st grader Carter Lowe ran an 8:29. Great job youth Chieftains!

BMS Boys XC place 7th at Wapak Night Meet, Vollrath medals!

The BMS Boys XC team placed 7th out of 18 competing teams at the Wapak Night Meet on Saturday. Camden Vollrath continued his strong start to the season by placing 6th in a field of 113 runners with a personal best time of 12:06. Daniel Campbell added a personal best time of 13:30 to place 33rd overall. Owen Smith and Malek Alhaj had season best times to aid the Chiefs effort.

BMS Girls XC Win Wapak Night Meet!

The BMS Girls XC runners had an outstanding team race to bring home 1st place out of 16 competing teams at the Wapak Night Meet on Saturday. In a field of 82 runners the Chiefs had four medalists in Kylie Lowe (4th), Emma Smith (5th), Miley McKirahan (8th), and Willow Rupp (14th). Danica Engle (29th), Gemma Rutan (43rd), Emily Escue (54th), and Rosie Moreland (82nd) rounded out the Chiefs effort. Personal or Season best times were run by Smith, McKirahan, Rupp, Engle, Escue, and Moreland.
