🟨🟦 Day 2 Recap 🟦🟨
On day 2 of the officer retreat, we spent the morning bonding over breakfast before moving into a problem-solving activity. In this activity members from Belle Plaine and NYA FFA teamed up to solve different officer team-related problems. These problems included: monetary issues, social media issues, member involvement issues, and much more. At the end, each group was asked to present their problem and how they solved it!
In the afternoon, we split up into our chapter teams and began planning the POA for the year. This included us going through each event we did last year and talking about how they went, then we went through saying events we want to keep, modify, or get rid of, before finally adding our new events to the 2026/ 2027 POA!
After lunch, we began the officer team Olympics which included competing for gold coins that we could buy prizes with. Some of the activities we participated in were: Wheelbarrow Races, Barrel Races, Lasso Competitions, Water Race, and many more fun games.
Finally, to end off the day, we spent the evening playing cards, fun yard games, volleyball, and making s'mores around the fire!
