Difficult to describe how proud the coaches are of all these robotics kiddos. We lost to the eventual - and well deserved - ultimate winner 9974 Thor out of Johnston. But hey, we took’em for one game out of 3 at least, after not losing a single round to that point. Sad to lose seniors Landen D and Nate P, but they make rooom for others to step up and take on leadership roles.

We don’t stop by the way, still much to do but the competitive portion does end till next September. What a season!

At Collins Aerospace “Women in STEM” day. BP students tried out the half-million dollar heads-up fighter pilot helmets, checked out the virtual reality assembly program, pierced balloons with skewers without popping them, build a prosthetic arm, flew drones and even created a greeting card with sound and lights. Whew! What a day! Thank you to all at Collins!
