Today, on Glioblastoma Awareness Day, we honor our dad, George Bartol, and everyone who has had to face this brutal diagnosis. 💜

Diagnosed at just 58, our dad faced glioblastoma with incredible courage and strength. Not a day goes by that we don’t think of him.

His legacy lives on through the George Bartol Memorial Scholarship Fund. Since 2005, we’ve granted over $150,000 to 50+ students whose parents have been diagnosed or passed away from brain cancer.

Today, we honor his memory, raise awareness, and continue giving hope to families affected by brain cancer.

💜 Together, we remember. Together, we make a difference.

Awareness and support does not stop in May. It’s every day. Unfortunately, they don’t seem as rare as they are said to be. This is the reason why we must educate ourselves and others about the resources available, and support those families navigating this challenging journey. At Hope in Gray, we stand with all our families putting one foot in front of the other every single day on this path 🩶
