HERO ALERT: Knoxville cops save a one-month-old baby who had stopped breathing.

On Wednesday evening around 6:30 p.m., Knoxville Police Department officers received a 911 call that a one-month-old infant was unresponsive and not breathing. Officers Clayton McWilliams and Victoria Jackson raced to the scene.

Bodycam video shows them moving with urgency. They quickly worked to clear the baby’s airway. Within seconds of their arrival, the child began breathing normally again.

The department stated, “We are grateful to Officer McWilliams and Jackson for their decisive actions and composure when it mattered most.”

This is what real policing looks like. Officers trained, ready, and focused on saving a life when every second counts. A baby is alive today because two cops refused to hesitate.

Georgia teacher, father of four d*es saving a stranger’s child from a rip current.

Derrick Moore, 47, a beloved elementary school teacher from Loganville, was at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on August 7.

After lifeguards had gone off duty, he saw a young girl caught in a powerful rip current.

Without hesitation he ran into the water, pulled her to safety, and was then swept under himself.

His body was recovered the next day. He had never met the girl.

Students at Rockbridge Elementary called him “Coach.”

Colleagues and family say he was the kind of man who always showed up with a smile and a heart ready to help.

He didn’t know her. He just knew she needed saving.

THAT was a true American hero. Let's make sure people know what he did.

Strangers with sledgehammers and bare hands saved three women after their car flew off a Houston overpass.

A vehicle speeding in the elevated HOV lane on the Southwest Freeway at Beltway 8 lost control, smashed through the barrier, went airborne, and slammed rooftop-first onto the main lanes below.

Three women were trapped inside the crushed car, screaming for help.

Jack Johnson was one of the drivers who stopped. He said he heard them yelling, “Get me out. Get me out. Help me! Help me!” and thought of his own little girls.

Nearly a dozen total strangers immediately went to work.

One climbed on top of the wreck. Others smelled gas and grabbed fire extinguishers.

Men attacked the metal with sledgehammers, poles, and their bare hands until first responders arrived and freed the women. All three survived.

Johnson later said, “Houston comes together. At a time of need, we come together.”
This is what happens when ordinary people refuse to drive past.

An 8-year-old boy took two years of bullying so he could donate his hair to kids fighting cancer.

Christian McPhilamy started growing his hair at age 6 after seeing children who had lost theirs to illness. For the next two years classmates mocked him and called him a girl. He never told them why.

When he finally sat in the barber’s chair and had roughly 10 inches cut off, the truth came out. He donated four ponytails to the Children With Hair Loss foundation so another child could have a real hairpiece.

His only explanation: “I just wanted to make another kid happy.”

A little boy quietly endured years of ridicule for a stranger he would never meet. That is real character. Make this little dude famous.

🚨Hero alert! Texas man is being called a hero after he jumped out of his work truck to save a 15-year-old girl from an attempted kidnapping!!

While towing porta potties, Cody Ratto saw the teen being beaten and grabbed by 28-year-old Carlos Alonso Cuevas Ruiz.

He stopped, helped her off the ground, and then chased the suspect in his truck long enough to get the license plate number.

Thanks to Ratto’s quick actions, Ruiz is now in jail facing charges of attempted kidnapping.

When asked if he would do it again, Ratto did not hesitate. “Every day,” he said. “This was a blessing from God to be in the right place.”

This is the kind of courage that protects communities. One ordinary man saw a child in danger and refused to look the other way.

We need more people willing to step up when it counts. Heroes like Cody Ratto remind us what real neighbors do.
