Today our 7th graders stepped into the real world during our โ€œBudgeting for Lifeโ€ math activity! Students calculated income, explored housing options, budgeted for transportation, and discovered just how quickly everyday expenses add up. Real-world math in action!

On Friday, Lieutenant Taylor with the Patrol Division visited our 7th grade students to speak about how laws protect the basic rights guaranteed by the US Constitution. Students had the opportunity to ask thoughtful questions and apply what they learned to real-life scenarios. We appreciate Lieutenant Taylor for taking the time to engage with our students and help make these important concepts meaningful and relevant!
