🚨 IMPORTANT SCHOOL CLOSURE NOTICE 🚨

Due to a fire at Belle Chasse Elementary School, Belle Chasse Elementary will be closed tomorrow. There will be no school for BCES students.

Belle Chasse Primary School was not affected and will operate as normal.

Additional information will be shared as it becomes available. Please continue to monitor our official communication channels for updates.

Belle Chasse High School and Belle Chasse Middle School students are exploring the ideas and decisions that helped shape the United States of America!

Students are analyzing historical documents to understand how the Constitution addressed the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation and created a stronger foundation for our new nation.

Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Boaz’s seventh-grade social studies students also stepped into the role of U.S. senators to debate the Louisiana Purchase Treaty. After taking the oath of office, they examined primary sources, considered the treaty’s economic benefits and constitutionality, and gathered evidence to support their final votes.

We are proud to see our students honoring America’s history through civic engagement, respectful debate and critical thinking. By learning from the past, they are preparing to become the informed citizens and leaders of tomorrow.
