😻Although they love it and the smell will drive them wild, ingesting catnip has a sedating effect on both cats and humans.😽
👍An essential oil in catnip, nepetalactone, seems to be the culprit. It will initially make your cat act fiesty and roll around but upon ingestion of the herb most cats will become sedate or zone out.😊
