"Me and My Shadow" - oil painting 20 x 20 -Yep, this is actually a self portrait of me as a 3 year old in Skokie, Illinois. In the original photo my dad took. I actually was looking at my little baby sister, but when I painted this .... I switched her for my cat Rocky....
( sorry Karen)... cause I have been a Cat Lady my whole life.

" Her Cat" 12 x 9 oil painting by me... Susan Blackwood. Yes, I am a Cat Lady.... and "my little girl heart" loves them so much! I started drawing cats as a young girl and I have never stopped! Sure, I paint lots of subjects.... I love them all, but there is a special spot in my heart for painting Cats.
