"We now know the bird that was lost in Greenville this morning. N402E was a 1946 Grumman G-44A Widgeon as seen below arriving and going up the ramp at the Stobie Airport Hangar. The pilot was able to get out and was taken by boat to the docks in Greenville and transported for medical evaluation."

A heads-up that Belfast Municipal Airport, City of Belfast, ME planning on painting yellow markings on the runway and taxiways next Monday morning starting around 0730. Please check NOTAMS before you fly Monday. Also, please plan on a little extra time in case we need to move people and equipment off the runway or taxiway prior to your arrival or departure.

If you know in advance you are planning on doing some flying Monday, please let me know and we will do our best to minimize any inconvenience.
