🔔Kindergarten Teacher Assignments🔔
We understand there are a lot of questions surrounding which teacher kindergarten students will have. We apologize for the confusion!
Kindergarten teachers will soon contact each family to schedule a brief testing and get-to-know-you session with your student, which will take place August 26–28. These meetings will help teachers learn more about each student's skills, interests, and needs.
After all meetings are complete, the kindergarten teachers will review the information together and collaboratively create balanced classroom rosters designed to support the success of all students. Once rosters are finalized, your student’s teacher will contact your family to introduce themselves as your student's teacher.
We understand that families will not yet know their student's kindergarten teacher at Open House and that there may be a strong desire to know your child's teacher ahead of time, especially to help ease first-day-of-school anxieties. We appreciate your patience as we complete this important process.
While you will not yet know your child's specific teacher, Open House is a great opportunity to meet all of our kindergarten teachers, learn how kindergarten operates, and become familiar with the kindergarten experience.
✏️School Supplies: Students should bring their supplies in their backpacks on the first day of kindergarten, September 1.
