🎶 A Little Piece of FC History… 🎶

A few years ago, someone mentioned that Faith Community had a school song. We knew we had to find it! After a little digging, we discovered a copy in 2023, and with the help of our 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Franz, we brought it back to life. ❤️

We’ve been singing it ever since!

But we have a question for our alumni… 👀
Do you know more about our school song? Who wrote it? When was it written? Do you remember singing it when you were a student?

We’d love to hear what you know!

This year, we’re planning to sing our school song together as a community at the Harvest Walk, and we thought we’d share the words ahead of time so everyone can sing along.

And honestly… is there a more perfect song for the Harvest Walk? 🏃‍♀️🍂

🎵 Running to win, the race, that God has set before me
Running with patience, not with fear

Keeping my eyes, upon, my Lord and Savior
Knowing He is always near

Winning the prize, a crown, a home in heaven
For all eternity.

Running to win the race, give Christ first place
Won’t you come and run with me! 🎵

We can’t wait to hear the whole Faith Community family singing it together! 💙🍁

Alumni, tell us what you remember in the comments!

We need your help to reach our goal of $20,000!

FCCS Supporters - We need your help to raise $20,000 for our annual Harvest Walk! Our Harvest Walk is a wonderful opportunity for you to partner with us in our mission to nurture children in a loving, Christian environment while equipping them to make a meaningful impact on the world. This year, as we focus on being Rooted in Christ, we are reminded of the importance of building strong foundations, both academically and spiritually. We believe that when children are rooted in Christ and grounded in a strong academic foundation, they are equipped to grow in faith, pursue their God-given purpose, and make a lasting difference in the world.

Thank you for partnering with us and for your continued collaboration and support!
