The good news is that we do have power in our district today!

The bad news is that our phones and internet access are currently down due to the power outage. We are actively working to get both back up and running as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, we do have staff members checking email from their phones, so please be patient if responses are delayed.

Outdoor athletics are on as scheduled. HS volleyball will still play at Greenville. MS volleyball is canceled. Band will practice as normal tonight.

Early Dismissal – Middle & High School

Due to a power outage at our Middle School and High School, we will be releasing all Middle School and High School students early today.

🚌 High School buses: 12:45 p.m.
🚌 Middle School buses: 12:50 p.m.

Students who are being picked up by a parent/guardian will be held at school until they can be picked up.

Our elementary school schedule will remain unchanged.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

Power is out at both BMS and BHS. We are dismissing students early—buses are arriving at BHS at 12:45pm and BMS at 12:50pm. If you normally pick your student up from school, please try to arrange for an earlier pickup!

📚 What a GREAT first day at Belding Area Schools! 🖤🧡

The smiles, excitement, and energy at Ellis Elementary and Woodview Elementary today were incredible! Our students came through the doors ready to learn, make new friends, and start another amazing school year.

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible staff for creating such a welcoming and positive start for our students. And to our families—thank you for trusting us with your children and partnering with us for another year.
