It’s officially back-to-school time, and we’re excited to see what the 2026–27 school year has in store for Belding FFA!

To all of our students, teachers and staff — we hope you have a great first day and an even better year ahead!

FFA offers so many opportunities to learn, lead, compete, serve our community, make new friends and try something new. Whether you’ve been involved for years or this is your first time thinking about FFA, we hope you’ll jump in and see where it can take you. 🌱🐄🌽

🥫💙💛 BELDING — LET’S SHOW THEM WHAT WE CAN DO!

Students head back to school Wednesday, and we have one extra item to add to that back-to-school list… a canned good! 🎒🥫

Belding FFA is taking on the “Signs of 1776” CAN-DO Challenge, and we need YOUR help!

🥫 Send canned or non-perishable food to school with your student
OR
📍 Drop donations off at the Belding High School office

Our FFA members will use the donations to create a patriotic-themed structure for the challenge — but the best part comes afterward:

❤️ 100% of the food Belding FFA collects will be donated to IM Kids 3rd Meal to help feed kids in our community.

One can, one bag or a whole box — every donation counts!

❤️ Why IM Kids 3rd Meal?

At Belding FFA, service is at the heart of what we do.

That's why we're proud to partner with IM Kids 3rd Meal through this year's CAN-DO Challenge.

Every canned good and non-perishable food item donated will stay local, helping provide weekend meals for children in our community who may otherwise go without.

This project is about much more than building a display.

It's about neighbors helping neighbors, students serving their community, and making sure local kids have food when they need it most.

Thank you for helping us make a difference—one can at a time. ❤️

We're Taking the Challenge!

🥫Belding FFA is accepting the 2026 "Signs of 1776" CAN-DO Challenge! 🥫

This fall, our chapter is excited to participate in the Bayer "Signs of 1776" CAN-DO Challenge! We'll be collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items to build a patriotic, agriculture-themed display.

The best part? Every single item collected will be donated locally to IM Kids 3rd Meal, helping provide weekend meals for children facing food insecurity right here in our community.

Our goal is simple:
❤️ Support local kids
🥫 Collect food for families in need
🌽 Showcase the power of agricultural education and community service

Whether we win the contest or not, our community wins.

Over the next several weeks, we'll share how you can help us make a difference. Stay tuned for donation locations, collection events, and ways to get involved!
