Last weekend, we had the opportunity to participate in the TMC Play for a Purpose Golf Tournament!

This year, we added a few of our past students to the team, and they definitely helped us finish strong! We ended the tournament 2nd Place in the 3rd Flight!!

Proud is truly an understatement. Watching each of you grow, persevere, and reach this milestone has been an incredible journey. Tonight, our cohort finished their finals, and I could not be more proud of each and every one of you! You all did an amazing job and showed the dedication, leadership, and hard work it takes to succeed.

This is only the beginning, now you are ready for the next level!

Congratulations on all you have accomplished, and I wish each of you the very best in your future endeavors. Keep striving, keep leading, and keep making a difference in your communities.

Miigwech to everyone who came out today for Day 2 of the Ogimaawiwin Leadership Conference!

Big thank you to all our breakout speakers for both days:
Dr. Stephanie Parisien and Stephanie Taldo from IHS Behavioral Health for a great session on mental health, Dr. Dan Henry for sharing on education and leadership, Jody Delong and his Tribal Government class on Native voting, Dr. Gavin Nadeau on leadership and research, Representative Jayme Davis for Indigenous leadership in action, Erin Belgarde for the work happening in TM Community Innovation R&D, Alex Morin for preserving our history through TMC Archives, and Awanigiizhik Bruce for an awesome session on social justice and art. We’re really grateful for all of you this wouldn’t have happened without you.
