Dear Families,
I am writing to inform you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, staffing shortages, and other operational and financial issues, the district’s Summer Eats Program that was planned for this summer will be suspended until further notice.
We understand that this program provides an important service for many families, and we sincerely regret any inconvenience or hardship this decision may cause. Please know that this decision was not made lightly. Once alternative local Summer Eats sites are known, I will ensure that this information is shared with our families as quickly as possible so that those in need can access available meal services.
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work through these challenges. We remain committed to supporting our students and families and will provide updates as additional information becomes available.
Sincerely,
Brian Cameron
Superintendent
