Leaping lily pads! We created a pond and a beautiful lily pad for our frogs to float around on! 🪷🐸

Ribbiting math challenge! We played a number matching game to see if we could count the frogs onto the matching lily pad without sending them splashing off the pad!

After reading The Icky Sticky Frog book we made our own Super Gloopy Frogs with ridiculously long curly tongues! 🐸

The fascinating world of frogs! Notably, their tongues are remarkable. With lightning speed, a frog can project its tongue, snag an insect, and withdraw it into its mouth in 0.07 seconds, which is five times faster than the human eye can blink. To illustrate this unique ability, we employed tape to affix assorted natural items.

The letter 'S' stands for super sticky, a ribbiting trait of a frog's tongue, which we're totally hopping into today.

We visited the Duck Pond! Not really, but our Quacky friends are quack-tastic enough to want to go visit them!

The Table Top Math activity, Duck Families, provides children with various methods to categorize the Duck counters. We initiated the activity by selecting an oval 'pond' and positioning the corresponding number of counters over the dots, thereby counting the ducks. Subsequently, the children were asked to choose how they would like to categorize the ducks, either by size or color, and our senior preschooler opted to create a pattern with the counters.
