The Maryland Rare Disease Advisory Council (RDAC), established by the Maryland Legislature in 2023, has launched its first critical initiative: a Needs Assessment Survey. The findings from this survey will directly inform the RDAC's recommendations to the State of Maryland on providing better services, resources, and support for individuals living with rare diseases.

You are eligible to take this survey if you are a Maryland resident who is:

1. Living with a rare disease (or suspect you may have one, even if undiagnosed).
2. A family member, caregiver, or professional who cares for a person with a rare disease.

Your feedback is completely confidential and vital to ensuring the Maryland RDAC can accurately assess the challenges and gaps in care across the state. By sharing your experience, you help shape policy and create a more supportive environment for the entire rare disease community in Maryland.

🍦💙 Our First Ice Cream Family Night was a sweet success! 💙🍦

We had an amazing time spending the evening with our Harford Academy families, enjoying delicious treats, laughter, and great company. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the PTA. Your support helps us continue creating fun events and opportunities for our students, staff, and families.

We truly appreciate each and every one of you and are grateful for the wonderful community we have built together. We can’t wait to see you at our next event!

Today was the PTA-sponsored Staff Appreciation Lunch. Everyone enjoyed Chinese food from China Haste in Edgewood—and of course all of the delicious desserts! A big THANK YOU to everyone who donated a drink or a dessert!
