The Patriots are teaming up with Under Armour for the inaugural UA Grit and Greatness Football Invitational — a two-day, five-game kickoff classic at Under Armour Stadium in Baltimore on Friday, September 4 and Saturday, September 5! The action starts Friday night when Patriots Varsity Football takes on Annapolis Area Christian School at 5:00 p.m.

Another one for Joey Coudon ‘26! 👏

Hitting home runs was not something John Carroll senior Joey Coudon was known for at the start of his junior campaign, but a record-setting power display at the plate has etched Coudon’s name above former major leaguer Mark Teixeira and Patriots great KJ Hockaday in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association record book.

What came next was a combined 31 home runs the past two seasons to give him an MIAA-best 33 in his career. His 16 home runs during the 2026 campaign broke the school record of 15 he slugged last year and tied for the league’s single-season mark.

📣 Big news! Following a seventh consecutive championship appearance, Coach Sherry Hudson was named the Aegis Coach of the Year! Over her nine seasons at the helm, Coach Hudson has built John Carroll into a consistent powerhouse, year after year. This season, she guided three players — Savannah Claycomb '26, Emily Hildt '27 and Brooke Widdoes '27— to All-County First Team honors, with each playing a pivotal role in the team’s deep postseason run. Congrats on this well-deserved honor, Coach Hudson!
