During our Getting Ahead class we do work w barriers and mindset. Yesterday thanks to a discovery Farms and life on the ridge flowers we made bouquets and discussed choice and what drives our choices. It was so much fun talking and watching the aha ha moments! Special thanks for the local management board for their support!!

We were visited today by one of our former kids. As he raved about his university ( squeak so proud of him), and him studying chemical engineering, he began to look through the summer camp books. He was like "this is where i fell in love with science and engineering" "omg these are my best child hood memories". He would giggle and say there is "so and so, I remember when.." and turn the page. It is a gift to see how they continue to grow and even more so that we are carried along with them as they fly. Such a wonderful surprise.

Special thanks for Harford Mutual! This is one of the kids favorite days at camp! The staff is so kind and truly feel the love!! Special thanks for Mr Frank he is a super star w the kids!! The kids were treated to Kona! Just what was needed to end a wonderful month!!

Moments that make you know it’s worth it! Years ago a dear friend came and did vision boarding w our campers and that day we realized how our kids didn’t understand you could be anything w work and determination. This year they made banners and at the point it says what do you want to be!! The ideas and specificity of options just blew my mind! They now see that the world is their oyster maybe w a few more bumps that others but … RD your legacy is here!! They have a vision!!

Today was swap day! The first of the summer!! The energy, the kindness, the wonder of being with such wonderful souls!!! The staff are working so hard and the kids are trying their best!! Parents are making sacrifices and we all just cherishing every memory made!!

Thank you for everyone who came and supported the Tea Time Around the World on Saturday!! It was so much fun, to see you all and to spend time with you as we travel around and learn of other cultures with friends.
